Flatout Offroad manufactures Toyota body lift kits in New Zealand for a wide range of Toyota 4WDs, including Hilux, Land Cruiser, Prado, Surf and 4Runner models.
Our Toyota 4WD body lift kits are designed for specific models rather than a universal lift. Toyota 25mm / 1 inch and 50mm / 2 inch body lift options are available, with correctly sized lift blocks and high-tensile mounting hardware.
A body lift raises the vehicle body higher above the chassis while leaving the factory suspension geometry unchanged. This can provide additional clearance around larger tyres without increasing driveline or CV angles.
We have been supplying body lift kits for more than 10 years, and our products are regularly used on our own 4WDs as well as vehicles throughout New Zealand and overseas.
Toyota Hilux Body Lift Kits
We manufacture Toyota Hilux body lift kits for several generations of Hilux, from early solid-axle models through to the N70 and N80.

This Toyota Prado body lift included a splined extension for the steering shaft to complete the lift.
Toyota Surf & 4Runner Body Lift Kits
Our Toyota Surf and 4Runner body lift kits cover several generations, so selecting the correct kit for the year and chassis is important.
Our range includes:

Different markets use Surf or 4Runner naming for related vehicles but they are mainly the same other than name.
25mm & 50mm Toyota Body Lifts
Many of our Toyota body lift kits are available as either a 25mm / 1 inch Toyota body lift or a 50mm / 2 inch Toyota body lift, depending on the vehicle.
A 25mm body lift can generally be installed without a steering extension. For a 2inch 50mm body lift you may require additional parts such as:
- Steering shaft extension
- Gear or transfer-case shifter extension
- Radiator drop brackets
- Intake extension
- Bumper relocation brackets

Toyota Steering Extensions for Body Lifts
On some Toyota models, a body lift removes too much spline engagement from the steering column.
Where additional steering shaft length is required, we manufacture steering shaft extensions for body lifts to suit selected Hilux, Land Cruiser, Prado, Surf and 4Runner models.
Our steering extensions are machined from solid steel and designed to work with the factory steering shafts. Check your body lift kit listing to confirm whether an extension is required for your vehicle and lift height.
Toyota Body Lifts & NZ LVV Certification
A body lift fitted to a road-going vehicle in New Zealand requires LVV certification.
Flatout Offroad body lift kits are designed with New Zealand LVV certification requirements in mind, including suitable lift block dimensions, materials and mounting hardware for the intended application.
