Age and use will slowly deteriorate these factory parts. These vehicles have seen a lot, and some have traveled many, many kms - chances are the factory bushes are cracked and in poor condition.
Body mount bushes / cushions are generally an overlooked part of any vehicle. Often the creaks, clunks, bad ride quality and increased cabin noise from worn body bushings is put down to drive line components or suspension bushes. Doors not shutting smoothly, and uneven panel gaps? These can all be symptoms from the body sagging on worn body bushes.
Sometimes its obvious replacement is needed when chunks are missing from the rubbers, but body mounts with cracks and brittle rubbers can cause the same issues while looking fairly acceptable for an older vehicle.

This kit contains enough rubber mounts to replace the worn factory bushes on all body mounts on a Nissan GU Patrol. LWB / 5 door or SWB wheel base 3 door.
