When a body lift is installed, the additional distance between the vehicle’s body and chassis can reduce the amount of spline engagement within the steering shaft. A correctly matched Ford steering shaft extension restores the required engagement and helps maintain safe, reliable steering operation after the vehicle has been lifted.

Steering Extensions for Ford Ranger and Courier
Options are available for selected Ford Courier, Ford Ranger and PX Ranger models. These extensions are designed primarily for use with Flatout Offroad body lift kits but may also suit other installations where the measurements and steering shaft design match.
Not every Ford body lift requires the same steering extension. If you are uncertain which part is suitable, get in touch with your vehicle model, year and body lift height before placing your order.
